 Author's Note: Lot of people have their favorite movie and their favorite type of movie. Hopefully after you read my story you would also want to see some of my favorite movies.

One of my  favorite scary movie is Roommate because roommate is the kind of movie that in some parts it becomes really quiet and then the next second something pops out. That is one of movies that I really like the mystery and scary type of movies. I  also like funny movies, that have you laughing the whole movie. One of my favorite movie that is really funny is Kung Fu Panda  because I love Po the panda his character makes the whole movie really funny.

Music

 Author's Note: Everybody loves music. But, music isn't just songs and you can make music by your self

Music is everywhere. And music isn't just songs but music can be anything to whistling from banging spoons on  pots and pretend your playing an instruments. And music has many different types of sounds like hip hop, rap, classical, and even smoothing music. And everybody had their favorite.

Winter

Author's Note: Lot of kids love Winter but what is their favorite part of Winter and what do they wait for until they can really have fun?

Winter is a great season little kids playing in the snow. Small snowflakes falling from the clear sky into your mouth, making snow forts, and having snowballs fights. And the children looking out the window waiting till the snow to be high enough to sled. When the snow is high enough they run out with excitement running towards the hill as they rush down the hill they can feel the rush of excitement while the snow is in their faces. After playing in the snow the best part is coming in for some nice and steamy hot chocolate as you put the marshmallow in they melt away in your cup.

Squidward

  Author's Note: Lot of people know who Squidward is but what does he do and what is he?

    Squidward is a grumpy and unhappy fictional character that lives in the water on a cartoon show. His head is weird shaped and he has a long nose. He has no friends and yells at everybody who bothers  him. And he works at the krusty krab and does not like it there. The only thing that makes squidward happy his quietness, his clarinet, and painting.

Holidays

Author's Note: Lot of people all over the world celebrate Christmas, but what do the people that don't celebrate Christmas celebrate?

Lot of people all over the world celebrate Christmas but since our family doesn't celebrate Christmas we celebrate Eid instead.Eid is a holiday that Muslims like me celebrate all over the world . We go to different people houses and greet each other and have a good time.And at the end of the day we got to one of our family houses and do our tradition their.Instead of getting presents we get money from our uncles and aunts.The older cousins can also give presents to their younger cousins if they want too. And we don't celebrate Eid one day, like Christmas there is a Christmas eve we kinda have something like that we have but its a month after but we pretty much do the same thing.

Rainbow

Author's Note :Rainbows aren't just beautiful colorful lines that appear in the sky. There all around us and we don't know that.


Rainbows are beautiful colorful and full of light that appears in the sky. And rainbows aren’t just beautiful colorful array that appear in the sky there are lot of thing that can be rainbows. Rainbows are all around us and not the one that are in the sky but like rainbow sprinkles and rainbow color popsicle. Rainbows doesn’t have to have the word rainbow in it it can just a bunch of beautiful bright colors that come together and form something bright and cheerful that can because called a rainbow.

Child Abuse

Authors Note: This paragraph will tell you how abused children all around the world can relate to what Dave went through.


    Do you love the way your living? A loving family, food to eat and, parents to take care of you. What if one day that just all disappeared. Your mother is mean to you, hits you all the time and, barley gives you food to eat. Well that’s what happened to Dave in The Child Called It. This story also reminds me of child abuse that is still going around.
  Child abuse is still going all around the world, parents beating kids and starving the children. Dave had to put up through a lot of abuse by his mom through his life. Before,he had a loving family that took care of him and his father was making a lot of money. But, that just all went away one day and his life was miserable after that.
  Lot of children can relate to the situation Dave was in.The pain and cruelty he went through and when I was reading the disgusted and painful situations Dave went through. I was so surprised that 22% of young abused children all around the world have to get treated like that.
   When Dave was abused for many years I think he got lucky when the teachers in his school and the police found out that he was being abused and were getting worried about him so they took him to court. Then he got to choose  to stay with the foster family. Lot of kids can to relate to this situation because about 144,000 physical abused children are placed in a foster care home each year.
   While  I was reading this book it gave me a better understanding of what child abuse is really like and what the children have to go through every single day. Being treated like this is not right for anybody. This book gives a good understanding what child abuse is really like and why child abuse and all the torture happening all over the world should stop and how nobody deserves to be treated like that.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

Are You Proud of Your Country?

 Author's Note: Do you ever think how lucky you are to have a house a school to go to and food to eat? And how other people in different countries don't have that

Do ever think how lucky you are to have a roof over your head and food to eat and loving family and friends that take care of you? Some people don’t have shelter and food to eat and not that many people to take care of them. Some people don’t even have a good environment to live in. I’m proud of the country I live and feel bad for other countries. Are you proud of the country you live in?
When people move to a new country because of their dad job or some other reason and they got enrolled into a good school and got a house to live in and they complain of the school and the house they live in. I don’t think they realize how lucky there are to get a house and a good school. In some countries some parents’ are trying to get money for their kids to get in to school and it there is lot of unemployment everywhere.

As the parents are trying to get kids into school let’s not forget the kids who don’t have any freedom. While here women are allowed to vote and in other places women can’t vote. And it’s not just the voting that makes countries bad but, it’s the slavery that is still going on around the world. Keeping children away from their parents not getting enough food to eat and hurting them if they did something wrong. How would you feel if you were forced to work for someone and get beaten up every time you did something wrong and all of that just at a young age?

While the people are being held as a slave let’s think about how people especially in Asia that have to deal with electricity problems. Over there people have to deal with no electricity for couple of hours or even more. And sometimes they have to deal with no electricity during the night and it’s really hard for them to fall asleep. Plus, it’s really hot there so having no electricity makes it even harder living there.

The next time you say the food your mom made isn’t good or complaining about moving to a new school or house or how hot your are during the summer. Think about the kids and their family in other countries that doesn’t have anything close to what you have.

My Parents

Author's Note: This  post is saying how it would be like if your parents were theating, hurting, and never getting along.

       One of my favorite books by Jack Gantos is What Would Joey Do?   Many people may wonder what it would be like to have your parents yell at each other all the time.  Also, how would it be if they would threaten and hurt each other all the time? What if you hear them screaming back and forth worth and hearing objects hitting against the wall and coming down to see glass shattered all over the floor? Jack Gantos has written some really interesting stories which helps him be the  best author for all ages

          Joey’s parent has never liked each other and always tries to threaten and hurt each other when he was a little kid. If my parents were like that when I was growing up I think that I wouldn’t be as successful I’m right now. And I wouldn’t have a good education in school if my parents would yell all the time. I think that I would be more stressful and would always be getting good grades in school and always and I would probably not be able to study for a test and then I would be behind in school which would make it more harder for me.

           Another reason it would be hard if my parents was like Joey’s parents is not just how it would affect my education in school. But, how it would affect my personality. If my parents would hurt each other and try to threaten each other. I think I would not that be happy anymore and always be stressing out. I probably couldn’t be able to live in my own house any more.

           In addition of my parents threatening each other. If they would throw glass and throw stuff at each other and every time I would come downstairs and see glass shattered all over the kitchen I would be really mad at my parents and if they keep acting like this I think it would be hard just to talk to my parents. And would not want to be seen in public with them.

           What Would Joey Do? Is one of my favorite books by the author who makes for all ages and interesting stories, Jack Gantos.
